Lizzy and Jon left on their honeymoon today. They hope to camp in the redwoods tonight. Beyond that they will follow their noses and make new plans every day. We made them promise to text us each night when they stop.

After a beautiful ceremony at the church we hosted a reception for a hundred guests on our lawn. Leslie had prepared enough food for probably two hundred — when I opened the refrigerator the next day I met a solid wall of food — and we actually had a dozen bottles of unopened wine.

Special thanks to Barb and Ron and Sue and Tom who helped us to set up and tear down, and to Cheryl and Jolee and Teresa for everything, and to everyone who loaned us canopies at the last minute. We didn't get much rain but it was enough.
